Llandewi Church

Llandewi Church
The church in Llandewi was built by Henry de Gower, 1328-1347 and dedicated to St. David. The oldest memorial slab to be observed here is that of Reverend Silvanus Prosser, the late vicar of Llandewi, who died in 1737. The bell enclosed in the saddleback roofed tower is described as the largest and loudest in Gower.

The church was restored in 1876 and 1905 and is open from Easter until the close of October.
